What is Cramly?
Cramly (cramly.study) is a free study tool for IB and AP Biology students. It uses spaced repetition to help students retain course content over time.
What data do we collect?
When you sign in with Google, we receive:
- Your name and email address
- Your Google profile picture (if available)
As you use Cramly, we store:
- Your study progress (which cards you've reviewed and how you rated them)
- Your streaks and scores
- Your curriculum choice (IB or AP) and course level (SL or HL)
How do we use your data?
Your data is used solely to:
- Personalise your learning algorithm so you review the right cards at the right time
- Track your progress and streaks
- Display your name on class leaderboards (if applicable)
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data to anyone
- We do not share your data with third parties
- We do not show advertisements
- We do not track you across other websites
Where is your data stored?
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encrypted database hosting. Authentication is handled through Google's secure OAuth 2.0 system - we never see or store your Google password.
Deleting your data
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. We will remove all your data promptly.
Children's privacy
Cramly is designed for secondary school students. We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the service. We do not knowingly collect unnecessary personal information from users of any age.
Changes to this policy
If we make changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Cramly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
